So,,,, I've been playing around with the infinity army creator and I just don't understand how these dudes work. Do I select both? Can someone help me out here.

Beneath the Pupnik's profile there's a counter to select how many you want, then when you add the chimera they're added too. I had to drag the profile sub-screen to find it though.

For each chimera you take, you can add up to 3 pupniks.

Found it. I had to move the little screen (had no idea i could do that, by the way) to get the Pupniks added.

Has anyone actually used these bros in gameplay? Would love to know what you usually couple them with. Obviously if you're playing Bakunin you'd need to take a fair amount of moderators to get them orders.

Well, you managed to solve the Army Builder Chimera thing about 13 days and 12 hours faster than I did!

The Uberfallkommando are great, I've used them a few times in a 'When animals attack'-style Nomad list.
Very hard to hit thanks to Hyper Dynamics L3 (watch out for template weapons) - I usually put them on a flank, the Chimera's zero v smoke grenades will help them advance in cover. Be careful not to lose the Chimera, if she dies you lose the rest of the squad.

I've also found climbing plus surprises people, especially if you play with a lot of tall terrain these guys suddenly speeding up the side of a building to leap on the sniper on top of it can be pretty useful! You probably won't need that many orders for them - they have their free impetuous move order, and then they are 'G:syncronised' which means you can move them all for a single order.

They are quite reasonable for the points so it's not the end of the world if you lose them - all in all I have found them to be quite entertaining (for both me and my opponent) when they are on the tabletop.

I really wante to do a "Genefreaks" style Nomad list with them, Morlocks, and Riot Grrls, but am obviously concerned about them being order starved.

I haven't really played with too many impetuous units, though. Is that free order really enough to make up for the lack of other orders you'd have if you had that many irregular models?

Well, just from experience with Mcmurrough (I dont play bakunin), I'd say yes. Moving 16" on his own steam then laying out 2 templates giving him another good 8" gets him central board easy. Combined with super jump, it makes many infiltrators err on the side of caution. Plus he's beefcake and can take some shots to the face before keeling over.

Uberfall have climbing plus so can do much the same thing, and who knows what the morlocks will end up with. They could possibly be even faster if you get the +4" move taking them a stupid 20", wth... and they'll still get to shoot after that... (Thats with impetuous + normal order btw). I think the grrls could pose a problem in a list like that though. You'd link them I imagine (why wouldn't you?) but when one gets impetuous it'll be harder to keep them together with only irregular orders outside of the link. For a 200 list I imagine you could fill it out with 3 uber groups and the rest morlocks. The chimeras zero-v and the morlocks smoke launchers would be pretty good, unless there's a bunch of MSV but it will still be hindered.

Models in Fireteams are never Impetuous and leave the Fireteam in the same state they entered - so wounds inflicted while linked won't trigger Frenzy.

So...if you link Riot Grrls they can't be frenzied?

Well, I'm gonna have to agree with IJW. Never used fenzy links before.

Yes, they can only become frenzied due to wounds they cause outside of the link. They can be frenzied when they form the team, but they lose it while they're in it.
