So My skaven is nearly complete but am just going to be buying a few more units to finish it off to a solid 2000 points until I move on to something else for now.
I was thinking of getting 40 Plague Monks or 40 Stormvermin, a Screaming Bell and also 3 Jezzails (Expensive tho so unsure about that one haha)
I have everything in this list except the Plague monks

I also have some rat ogres but I wont be using them.

This list is going to be used for casual games at my flgs (against the owner probably) and with friends so I think it will do alright.
It is actually pretty low on

Lords
Grey Seer, Talisman of Preservation, dispel scroll, 310

Heros
Chieftain, BSB, Halberd, armour of destiny 122
Engineer, doomrocket 45
Engineer lvl 1, warp energy condensor 95

Core
40 Slaves, musician 82
30 clanrats, shields, musician, standard, warpfire thrower 217
30 clanrats, shields, musician, standard, warpfire thrower 217
5 giant rats, packmaster 23
5 giant rats, packmaster 23

Special
9 gutter runners, poisoned attacks, slings 162
40 Plague monks, standard, musician, plague banner 225

Rare
Hellpit Abomination 235
Doomwheel 150
Warplightning cannon 90

Total: 1996
I updated by adding the plague banner and taking off skalm.
My main concern is the staying power of the plague monks since they don't have an armour save.

Thoughts? I know it is low on slaves haha

Giant rats don't count for Core points, so you're 14 points shy in core requirements. Throwing shields onto your clan rats will cost you 15 points a block, and is totally worth the points.

Otherwise looks good. I personally would drop the Doomwheel for a second WLC, but that's mostly a taste thing.

The Plague Monks should be okay despite their lack of armor save. They're T4 and you have 40 of them, but you should really try to get them the Plague Banner.

Ya your 100% right about the giant rats thing, I just didn't think about it when I made the list haha but I will put shields on that makes sense.
Ya a second WLC was what I was going to do but I feel like I want to try the doomwheel a bit more before deciding if I like it or not haha.
Good to know about putting the plague banner tho!

EDIT:
I added the plague banner and shields and took off Skalm from the grey seer.

Also should I put the BSB and the Grey Seer in the same block of clan rats and then the engineers in another?
