Hey all,

Im currently speccing up a Daemon prince to run as the HQ for some CSM allies for my orks. The current design idea is:

He's an ork elevated to immortality and princedom, except he really wanted wings. he really really wanted wings. Santa didn't deliver im afraid and the gods of all unholy mocked him with a tiny set of wings. So being an ork he found a counter to this. A big rocket, a big rocket thats now grown a mutated face attached to his back. below is a sketch It hrew together in my lunch break as a simple design concept. I like the rocket leg (think of it as being big and bulky like the bad robot in Ironman 1). I may change the other leg to something more tentacle-y.

What I do need though is ideas for arms? I also want to represent a daemon weapon on him, so anything wacky you could think of for that would be cool
Thinking like randomly:

Daemon/s strapped to a big pole (daemon pole?)
a big muscular arm and fist with a daemon bursting out of the palm - maybe a palm mouth

Any thoughts just throw them at me looking to give this dude plenty of character.

Awesome idea! You are a shining example of orkyness. My first thought for a weapon was some sort of huge hammer but Demon-on-a-stick as demonweapon? Yes, please!

As for arms, since it's still an ork they should remain big and muscular. Maybe some bone-spikes protruding through the skin at various places?

Yeh the more I think about Daemons-on-a-stick the more I like it Maybe loads of smaller daemons cos 1 lesser daemon + 1 lesser daemon = 1 greater daemon obviously! Or I could go with a rather big daemon tied to it and it looking extremely goofy

Yeh loving the idea of bone spikes! thinking like the dude from Mortal kombat, or the spike guy from x-men (there was a spike guy right? in the cartoons I think) mmm I definitely agree about big and musclar though

He's cool as ***k! not only is the plasticard work beautiful, but the Gs work is also really really well done I absolutely love the drive fan on the back, your plasticard work is truely inspiring Can I ask, where do you source your plasticard? are you UK? As I got my first load from china, like an assortment of tubes and pipes etc, the only problem has been that while some fit inside each other it wasn't a common point, meaning I couldn't build great pipework easily. I paid very little for what I got so no complaints, but I definitely need some thats more coherently sized.

Your chain gun looks sick and I love the mechanical fist look In my mind im going to go for a slightly bigger build in general with slightly bigger legs to accomodate the rockets and the daemon leg. But I will definitely be using your work for some reference

I've also seen a nice conversion of the DV Hellbrute into an monstrous ork. Could be just the thing for your demon-ork. The fleshy parts of the chaos dread being usefull for once.

And that is a very good point! I may have to see if i can pick up a few bits at a bits site, need to get me a daemon ;P
