Hi! I'm looking for some fluff to run a campaign off of. My brother who'll be playing with me plays CSM and I play Orks. I'm just looking for a long-term engagement between the the 2 factions. Don't care who was involved, do't care what the situation was. Just looking for the fluff.

Lots of different possibilities here.
Could be that a freak warp storm has brought an Ork Waaagh to a CSM controlled world somewhere like in the Eye of Terror (or indeed a CSM Fleet out to an Ork World). Could even set it on a space hulk that the Orks are attempting to capture to transport their Waaagh to new parts which already has (to quote the Codex) "a base fer da Chaos ladz wiv da spikes" on it.
Perhaps two rival invasions get drawn to the same world for tactical gain, or get diverted through the meddling of a 3rd race like the Eldar or Necrons to have their main threats destroy each other... anything you like really.

I meant along the lines of cannon fluff. I'll make my own up if need be but I'd rather base it off of something from BL or a Codex

NOW. I want opinions. If I were to do this in say and 8-10 battle engagement. Would you read it as a batrep? I have no camera for video batreps

I don't mind non-video batreps, but I do like them to be fluffy over "I rolled a six, he rolled 2, he died." type things.

If you can come with interlocking battles / stories, I would.
