Subject: Anyone have experience with Vallejo Matt Varnish (from bottle)
I bought some but have yet to use it. It's a matt varnish that comes in a bottle similar to the paints. I worry with darkening my paint scheme too much and I'm curious if I use it straight from the bottle or dilute it or what. I know most use sprays so that's why I ask. Maybe I should take it back and get the Testors spray.

I use mine straight from the bottle & it works fine. You will want to clean your brush often though because it dries super fast and it will gum up your brush.

I tend to dilute it 2 varnish to 1 water when I airbrush it. I don't think you need to, but I prefer to. I've found Vallejo matte varnish to be ultra matte, so I usually mix it 2-3 matte to 1 gloss.
