When I started painting my new Skaven army, I made my own movement trays. I made one for 5 Rat Ogres with 2 Moulder Packmasters, as below.
I made that with the placement from when I played Skaven many years ago in mind. Is this an illegal formation now?

Also, how do you or your opponents normally form up rat darts? I seem to see this formation mostly:

X Y
-----
rear

Is a 3x2 tray the optimal size for a rat dart?

I don't know about formations, but that movement tray looks pretty cool!

I am not sure about the rat ogre formation (I never EVER use mine) but for the rat dart a 3x2 tray is how it works yes. You put the handler dudes at the front as well if I recall correctly (there was some debate about if they go at the front or back but it really doesn't matter anyways since they are going to get DESTROYED right away lol)
