I dunno. At some point, the mecha becomes a bit impractical.
1/100 Jagd Mirage, Green Left, Twin Tower.
Scale?
Yeah.

Yeah.
Ah yes, the Jagd Mirage. That thing really is a beast. I think it would outclass any 40k Titan.
Definitely. The two Jagd Mirages can (and do!) destroy a planet. Imperials just don't have that technology (Eldar do!).

This is new. Gundam Kimaris is clearly a Nagano Auge translate. Should look great next to Hyakushiki! Gundam Gusion is very cute!

The basic helmet and shoulder armor design of the Kimaris is copied from the modern Auge.

There's something to be said for the goofiness of the 0079 RX-75 Guntank:

Oh, no doubt the Origins version is vastly less implausible, considering that the 0079 has a "core fighter" jetplane as its torso. And the scale? Look at the size of the people!

Or, one could get some of the sillier mecha from G-Gundam.
Or a set of Nobel Gundam, perhaps?

At 12" long in 1/72 scale, the Eagle Transporter is *HUGE*. 15mm would look good with it, but true 25mm would be most accurate.

Only $35 USD at Walmart. I have seen hand held the toy in my hands and it is awesomely, amazingly HUGE. Seriously, pictures don't do it justice. At least, not unless you've got a toddler next to it. OSW has done a couple repaints, and he's amazing: http://www.onesixthwarriors.com/forum/sixth-scale-action-figure-news-reviews-discussion/844492-hasbro-aou-18-hulkbuster-titan-hero-hand-pics-3.html If that guy had just gotten his hands on some quickshade and then it the Arc Reactor with an airbrush... Wow.

Not that I've ever seen.
But you could buy a kit and never use the external armor.

Oh, if we're talking about more generalized Gundam mecha skeletons, one can go the route of the 1/100 YAMS-130B "Griefer":
Winner of the prestigious Ora-Zaku grand prize, natch.
He's like a MS-18E Kampfer on steroids
For mass production (900 units) it's resin over a generic plastic skeleton:

In the case of the YAMS-130B, it's a question of prepping, painting and gluing the armor to the skeleton. Pretty easy, I think.

Did you miss my original post on the previous page?
I gave a link to the mass production version (with the much smaller guns and simplified detailing). The Chilok knockoff kit *is* available, though you're on your own on the big guns.
Considering the price, it's not at all unreasonable if you want to get 95% of the way there for the mech itself.

That is a really slick mech.
The motorcycle is pretty awful, though, as the wide tires means it can't turn, and the cockpit / head sensors can't see. Not that it matters, because the mech design is so good.

I'm not sure. A normal 2-wheeler turns by leaning after countersteering to set up the lean.

Guys, the model doesn't have any crown to the tires - they are cylindrical and flat, like car tires. It won't turn, because it can't lean.

It's magic!
But really, the bike doesn't need a rider to shift weight to lean, assuming it has "normal" fork geometry. Countersteer will bring the front wheel outside the line, and the weight of the bike itself will lean it over.
That said, these are automating with robot riders in a hurry.
http://www.wired.com/2016/01/yamahas-motobot-will-make-human-motorcyclists-look-pathetic/
If we can do that, you can put an internal gyro or balancer inside the bike and it'll work.

Yeah. The cheapest Metal Gear that I could find was still $100-ish. Which is not too bad, roughly comparable to a GW Titan.
