Is it wrong that I want to get a bunch of those and play Jovian Chronicles or Lightning Strikes! Are the models up to the challenge of that kind of handling?

Well... the original JC/LS stuff is resin, with all that it entails. These ones are Bandai-level plastics, and apart of being insanely more detailed, they should be at least as sturdy as resins...

So yes. Yes, they would be.

Not really a fan of the Discovery, but I like the Shenzhou.

Real shame they appear to be too big for regular Battletech :(

A converters paradise at a very reasonable price. Could be used to make any number of larger type aircraft for 40k, especially stand-ins for Tau flyers.

I have that one, and it is a truly gorgeous model.

I quite like both the Savages and the M9s, shame those and the Sagara specials are the only ones that ever get minis, though.

Always loved the Ent-D, I'll need to see if it's sold at a decent price over here.

Also as an aside in one of the MIG books they build the 40k orc bomber kit and describe it as " GW produce crude and relatively featureless kits with poor fit and execution, that can be saved with a lot of work if you like the chaotic aesthetic" lol jewel like objects indeed.

Honestly, seeing what he's comparing them to, well.. he's not wrong.

Once you put together a nice gunpla kit, it is really hard to view GW kits in the same light.

When you see full, working internals in a sprue, already assembled, it's kind of like "what magic is this"?

Well, I like both and buy both, but I don't kid myself about the relative quality of each.

As to the above "models for games that need to be robust", well....

I mean, I don't know.

Admittedly, pricing is in the same bracket as the moon lander, but at least it can be used as is..

That certainly is, but I prefer to do my own prints.
