That one AT-AT did explode pretty easily once it fell over. Presumably, once it's still it's easy to aim at the weak spots.

Complicating the question of AT-AT durability is Luke killing one with a lightsaber and a hand grenade. That raises a lot of questions if ship guns have trouble penetrating armor that a handheld weapon can cut. And that's not even Jedi superpowers at work, anyone can apparently just use a lightsaber to chop things.

It's still the equivalent of a hand grenade in size and delivery mechanism. They should be able to fire much stronger things out of larger vehicle-based weapons.

I got one of the new Revell AT-ACTs and I'm pretty happy with it. It's in a weird tiny scale (about 1/98 if my math is right), but is a pretty good size for potential gaming use (about 8 inches tall depending on leg pose).

I think that you would have trouble finding a Flames of War unit that would be a good choice for it to count as, though.
But yeah, as I was saying, it's at a pretty reasonably good size for "large vehicle that can fit onto a gaming table". If you ignore the question of whether 40K figures could fit inside the head, it might work as a weird-looking knight or something.

Don't be silly, you know they used AT-ATs to siege Leningrad.

I'm ordering one, but don't have it yet so can't give my own size impression. The eBay auction does give us these pics, though:

Yeah, I'm pretty happy with the Revell Star Wars stuff I've gotten so far (U-Wing, AT-ACT, Imperial Star Destroyer, Poe's X-Wing). They've apparently got a bigger AT-AT I've been meaning to track down. I also want one of their Millennium Falcons, not sure which version I want since they've made several.

Walmart has Revell U-Wings, TIE Fighters, AT-ACTs, and X-Wings for $10 each on clearance, if you can find them.

That Cherno Alpha kit is out, so we now have non-marketing-photoshop pictures:

Ami Ami is claiming 170mm for that Gipsy Avenger. It also comes with another weapon, a "gravity sling", which might be some sort of gun.

Anyone own these old Gundam tanks? Depending on size, they could be useful.

I think this is different than those, the eBay listing claims each line in that one picture is 10 mm and that they're plastic.

Yeah, these guys appear to be normal Battletech scale.

The other ones appear to be roughly 40K dreadnought size.
