I recently painted up King Starfire. He's a leveled up version of the boss dragon from the core set- and he's a pretty sizeable mini.

I rather enjoyed painting him up, and I felt that the starscape worked very well on him. I used a simpler version of the starscape patterns on the original Starfire's wings, so I felt it appropriate to give this Starfire a more elaborate version.

The dead knight on his base was a nice touch.

He's simply huge for Super Dungeon, but we played with him the other day, and he's tall enough that the other characters can stand at his base without any issues.

I've posted him up to Coolmini for anyone who cares to vote.

Here are some pictures.

Beautiful!

You really have a knack for painting convincing starscape and I just love the shade of green on the dragon.

Any plans to photograph your SDE miniature collection? It has to be coming along pretty well by now given all the cool minis you have posted recently.

Thank.

Well, they take up three shelves in our case right now, and at least one of those minis is currently in a "no posting" place (as he may become a Gencon entry depending on what else I get done).

I've got a few others done that aren't in my gallery yet, but I'm sure I'll be posting them one at a time.

As of right now, between my wife and me, we have a 100% completely painted SDE set (with all of the expansions). Which makes me hunger for more SDE minis (the next batch we'll be getting is the Relic Knights set).
