Hi! I have a local tournament with friends next week, and I've been thinking some lists. This one is the best I could think of right:

HQ:
Destroyer Lord with MSS, Sempiternal Weave and Warscythe

Troops:
5 Warriors
5 Warriors with Ghost Ark
5 Warriors with Night Scythe

Fast Attack:
6 Canoptek Scarabs
4 Canoptek Wraiths with 2 coils

Heavy Support:
2 Annihilation Barges (gotta love them!)

I fear I don't have enough troops on the table sometimes... Yeah, it's only 1000 points, and I could try to rush in with the Wraiths and Scarabs and contest objectives, but... you know...
I have 2 flyers, some immortals, crypteks, deathmarks, overlords, more warriors, Zahndrekh, Anrakyr, Trazyn, Lychguard... But first I want your oppinion Possible opponents are Eldar, Tau, Tyranids, Imperial Guard (this player sucks anyways, he plays like this is The Hobbit lol), Space Wolves (I think), Dark Angels, Orks (this guy is awesome, always uses Ghazzy)...

I like it. As a matter of personal opinion I always bring a 20 man warrior squad if I'm going to bring ghost archs because I primarily use them to res warriors, at only 1000 points though I don't know how practical 505 points of warriors and ghost archs are(total of 30 warriors and 1 ghost arch). That being said if there is any way to get another annihilation barge in there that's really all I can see here. Good luck in your tournament, I'm interested to hear how your list fares.

Yeah, someday I should get a third Annihilation Barge... That, or use my Doom Scythe/Night Scythe.
Oh yeah, I was planning on running the scarabs behind the wraiths to give them mobile cover. Both units move 12" so... Depends on the enemy of course.
Oh yeah, something I forgot... How much do beasts run? Only 1d6?

Yeah, list looks fine.
Might consider switching one of the Ghost Arks for a Nightscythe, then drop a single Wraith and Scarab from each unit, thus being able to afford a third unit of Warriors (to wait in reserves to walk on near the end of the game to claim the home objective).

I have recently started and i totally dislike the look of the ghost arks and Doomsday arks. I came up with this alternative.

OP's list is fine, there's no need to resort to copy/paste Wraith-Wing.

Oh well, I won a match against Tau (tabled them turn 4), lost one against necrons, aaaand... lost to Orks that used a superheavy from Imperial Armour. At 1000 points. The damn thing moved 12 and charged 12 without dice, god dammit ._.12 freakin hull points. Only managed to get 1... u_u

Someone brought super heavies? To a 1000 point "friendly" tournament?

To top it off, he was the only one that knew we could already take them... They were supposed to be "unlocked" in the store in two weeks for the tournament final... Oh well. He had like... 10 stompas in his house, using them only on Apocalypse... But yeah, I suppose I'll have to get my Tesseract Vault on summer with the extra paycheck. I love that fething monster.

Wraiths take care of any tougher units. Barges take care of any troops/light to medium armour and the scythes fly around causing merry hell before dropping off the warriors on turn 5.

Keep the barges out of LoS of anything too strong and let the D. Lord tank the majority of the wounds for the wraiths. Only weakness is the 24" range at the start, but if you use the terrain well enough it doesn't really impact you.

the 1000 point list will have so much trouble with eldar and requires skill to beat em because if he spreads far out youll have a tough time
