So, I finally downloaded the rules for this formation. I honestly don't know if I'm overlooking something or if they actually get two special rules for free. It didn't seem like there was a lot in there for $5. Also, are the three units treated as separate units in the game or do they have to form one big squad?
Wow. That's good to know. I'm going to a tournament soon that is allowing all the data slates and since I play Tau and was planning to use these models anyway, I figured I'd check it out. Glad I did. Jeez, that's nuts.
It should be noted, that since they do not use the FOC, if you get Big Gun Never Tires (if the turny is doing that), the Broadsides won't count as heavy support.
If anyone has found otherwise, please correct me.
