In my most recent game my opponent outflanked some stealth suits behind my tank and shot it, then he wanted to use his jump pack move to enter ongoing reserves. Is this legit?

As far as I am aware when any unit enters play from reserves it cannot move shoot or assault. Unless it comes in via Deepstrike, then that unit can shoot.

You use your movemvent from the edge you enter, you are allowed to fire as you please you can't charge BUT as in the FAQ for flyers a unit that arrives from reserve can't go back into reserve the same round.

Non flyer units can't move off the table into reserve.

Only one i know of that can do this are Swooping hawks cus of a special rule they have? but according to me eldar friend that can't be done the same turn they arrive.

A special rule would be required. I've no idea if Hawks can leave the same turn though.

Nope, stealth suits can't do it.

Let him use his jump move to go off table. Then laugh as he destroyed his own unit.

As others have pointed out the *only* units that are allowed to enter ongoing reserves are Flyers, Flying Monstrous Creatures and anything with a special rule for it. Tau do not have that rule.

Ah! I'm going to have to re-read that section then.
