Hive tyrant
-TL Devourers w/brain leech worms
-norn crown
-hive commander

Tyrant guard (2)

Tervigon
-crushing claws

Warrior brood (3)

Termagants (30)
-devourers (10)

Zoanthrope

Exocrine
-regeneration

Tyrannofex
-regeneration
-shreddershard beetles

Tyrannofex
-rupture cannon
-regeneration

1,500 points on the head.

Hive tyrant sticks close to the tyrannofexs and exocrine for synapse. Zoanthrope and warriors stick close to the termagants. And the tervigon uses out flank to pop out more gants and grab objectives.

Thoughts on how to improve?

Looks good...The Norn crown is an expensive piece of gear though, so you might look at dropping it and spending the points elsewhere.

At higher point games you'd likely want Wings for your Tyrant, so you might want to build it that way ...if it's not already done..easy to pay for by dropping the Tyrant Guard (with a few left over)(Plus it looks to be your only way to counter enemy fliers)

Overall you should be able to rampage in the 1500 point environment with all those Big Bugs..

I was tossing around that idea actually. The only problem I can see with that is it would be a lone flying monstrous creature and attract a lot of attention, so in turn I would have to throw in a crone or harpy, then I would have to redesign the list. Stinks because I have the model and love it. But I think the walking tyrant will be a good anchor for synapse for the tyrannofexs and exocrine.

Reasonable enough, but not having any anti-flier cover is a poor choice indeed. Me I'd rather have some FMC than none at all. I don't paticularly like FMCs so I do without them(mostly) , and its usually "OK".

At 1500 its pretty unlikely that you'll Need more flying, if you want more wings buy Gargoyles, they are sure to be usefuli. And at higher point games Wings becomes more of a "must have" so why not "handle it" now?
