I am looking at using the Nihilakh dynasty colours for a dwarf army i want to paint but my google fu isn't as well honed as it should be. So im just wondering if any of you guys or gals have seen a painting guide for it. The ony videos i find are kind of useless as they only paint the head and chest crests so there isn't much else used paint wise.

I know that the main colour is turquoise but i cant work out which green or wash is used.

Cheers in advance people.

It's funny that you ask, because I was just talking to someone earlier about how I paint my Nihilakh Dynasty Necrons... This is what I told them:

The way I do my Necrons is I use this method for the turquoise:

Caledor Sky as a basecoat over black primer
Coelia Greenshade as a wash
Sotek Green as a heavily drybrushed layer
Temple Guard Blue as a second drybrushed layer

And for the gold/bronze, I mix Balthazaar Gold with Zandri Dust (you have to play with the ratio) for the gold/bronze sections, it gives it a nice semi-metallic look.

Good luck on painting dwarfs with this scheme, and post some pics when you do! It's a beautiful color combination, I'd love to see how it's applied to other armies.
