Subject: Lictor broods - still able to place solo, or must be grouped together?

Quick question about Lictors in the Tyranid army. If I remember, I think in 5th edition, you could buy a brood of Lictors and place them separately. But as I'm reading through my 6th edition codex, I don't see that stated anywhere. Am I just blind, or does a brood of 3 Lictors have to maintain squad coherency now?

They must maintain squad coherency when purchased in your normal FOC elite slots.
Someone will be in shortly to link the dataslate that lets you get 5 individual lictors + Deathleaper, outside the FOC. (It's on GW's digital editions page somewhere, but I am lazy.)

Lictor Broods haven't been able to deploy separately since 2010. In 5th and 6th they operate as one unit.

I have a peanut allergy. It's really inconsiderate.
"Long ago in a distant land, I, M'kar, the shape-shifting Master of Chaos, unleashed an unspeakable evil! But a foolish Grey Knight warrior wielding a magic sword stepped forth to oppose me. Before the final blow was struck, I tore open a portal in space and flung him into the Warp, where my evil is law! Now the fool seeks to return to real-space, and undo the evil that is Chaos!" |

Thanks folks. I've got the dataslate, so I'm familiar with that. I guess I must have been looking at an even older codex in regard to the separate deployment.
