It would look freaking cool, and I think I want to do that, but how viable is it? The warboss isnt mounted, and I'll have 5 or so nobs and 30 un-mounted Slugga Boys, and 3 deffkoptas, but the rest all bikers. How viable is that?

Nob bikers are great. Regular bikers are a waste.

yea, i have some. Just have them as elites and it's a choice. Gave them a pain-boy and a waaagh! banner.
They are crazy! I put a customised zhardsnark and it eats things alive! Make sure to gets some trukks to mount some boyz and get some anti-tank (like your deffkoptas) or tank bustas. I got some they are really good. Put them in a trukk with a rokkit moves 6" a turn but kills those tanks!

One of my best friends is way into Orks, both modeling and fluff-wise. I was planning on getting the Ork Warboss on bike model off Forgeworld to turn it into Wazdakka for his birthday at the beginning of summer.

Couldn't tell you how "viable" it is as an army because they're orks at the end of the day, so if you've got the shot output, you can do some work.
