Hi, so iam trying to get my almost 1.5k list up to 2k, and I'm wondering how i could go about it.. I mostly play against: IG (blob with 4 tanks), Salamanders(drop pod),Tau(gun line no riptides) and Imperial fists(gun line) and a few others from time to time.. .

So here is my 1.5k list...

Despairtek goes with the imortals, lord joins the warriors (not sure if i should keep it like that or put him with the Immortals too?) Stormtek joins the other squad of immortals.

So iam about 555 points short i was thinking a 3rd ghost ark and a 3rd annihilation barge maybe? but i don't know. Also My Local Meta sort of dosnt like fliers.. I could probably get away with a flier tho..

I don't know a whole lot about Necrons, But I always think more ghost arks and warriors cant hurt, I would suggest getting another overlord for another despairtek or a night scythe so you can get the immortal squad up the board?

It depends, what do you think your army is missing?

Also, which out of the list you mentioned do you struggle with most?

Ever ran with scarabs and spyders? Very handy vs those tanks.

Or a veiltek with a few stormteks so that you can deep strike in and haywire them.

Dooms arc vs those IG blobs perhaps? But they are quite unreliable at times.

Last and probs my preferred option id give is add a few night scythes for those immortals. Gives them speed and a handy twin linked tesla destructer

Currently i struggle most with the Imperial guard, its just too much to deal with...

i havnt ran scarabs and Spyders, I guess thats cause my Imperial Guard player always screens his tanks with his regular guardsmen so it makes getting anything into hand to hand that hit harder..

same problem above, 12" range dosnt quite do it, i like the 4 haywire shots tho, i can see its potential.

I havnt tried Doomsday arks, i think thats cause i don't like the idea of something that has to stay still to do what its good at but yet being a skimmer means it cant gains its jink save..

I was thinking about a lone Night Scythe cause i do kinda like tesla destructers too, maybe i will just get another annihilation barge and some more stuff.

Blobed IG or Tanks IG?
If Blob, try Tomb Blades with Scopes and Beamers. Tons of Tesla Destructors, too.
If Tanks, yeah, 1x Despair-tek w/ Veil + 2x Storm-teks together, jumping behind his best vehicle on turn one, should ruin his day. (bonus points for taking out his anti-air defense first, so your Nightscythes don't have to worry once they come on)

You could always add a D-Lord (with MMS and Weave) and 6 Wraiths 3 with (Coils) can take out just about anything while getting to it

Maybe a tarzyn combo is good for blobs. Using his empathic obliterater. Potenitally kill a whole unit of guards in one. With his barge might not be enough but possibly a few lords and a veiltek?

Are you attaching 1 overlord and 1 veil per immortal squad?

I think both overlords would benifit more with gauntlet of fire vs guards and both need the weave? Is it worth taking mss against IG?

Whos going in the flyer?

I think in theory the stalker is sweet but on your opponents turn, the stalker will be his 1st target and wont last to be usefull.

Might be better investing the 150 elsewhere. Some orb lords? Another barge? Or a squad of tomb blades?

the stalkers there cause i dont just play against guard. I dont want to kinda list tailor to just deal with guard and then play against my spacemarine friend and yeah..

I like having the lone stalker (I have alos already got the model..)

So yeah.. I know what you mean tho, and it dos kinda make sence.

I like it then. Maybe stick the other overlord and veil in another bigger warrior blob. More survivable. But all in all it sounds good. If your not just against IG, using cryteks is good as you can change things withouth having to purchase more models. Let me know how you get on with it. Good luck

Well iv just played 2 games over the last few hrs. I won against the guard (but i think that was due to playing emperors will and vanguard deployment ( lost first turn my opponent stole the initiative)) killed his squad that was holding the objective on my last turn so managed a 4/2 (3 from the objectives 1 from line breaker and he had slay the warlord and firstblood).

2nd game was against his crimson fists(long table edges purge the alien).. and I lost.. lets just say there was 2 really really bad mishaps. followed by his 9 autocannons taking care of the night scythe (he kinda wasted alot of shots on it doing all 9 at once..) i killed like 3 centurians and 12 marines and a laspred... so mixed bad..

not really sure how necrons deal with Marines tho.. but yeah 3rd game i lost too.. was relic and i just had really bad dice rolls (failed 4 2+'s on my overlord..) but i killed his warlord too (Pedro Kantor).. but that was the highlight of my game
