+1 for the blob of BS5 gun drones.

drop the gun drone team and use the points on another commander with drone controller then first turn drop the drones off the piranhas and attach the commanders to your free drone teams then you have 2 BS5 drone blobs. while your piranhas go armour hunting

Problem with the above is the commanders have to start on the board in precarious positions aka getting first blood warlord killed.

Second problem I have with that strategy is if the piranhas get alpha striked at all, it severly diminishes the size of the squads the commanders can join.

Not to say that the strategy can't work, just not for me. Have tried it in practice and find it way more effective to just have the warlord start off the board and drop in with 14 ablative wounds.

You know, if you can find the points for an ethreal, it really helps with the sniper drones...
