Well Dakka, there's a 1750 point tournament just around the corner, distance and time wise. It's only two weeks out and it's being held at a conference center in the same city I live in, (Twistercon in Midwest City, OK if anyone is wondering or coming ) and I just realized I don't have an army to take even if I wanted to throw my lot in.

The only collection I've got going right now is Blood Angels so I was kind of hoping to build an appropriate army out of what I have. Unfortunately I have a soft spot for Sanguinary Guard and tactical marines were a dime a dozen so most of my collection consists of Dantewing and Angry Marines. I've got about 1250 points of "the good stuff" that I've already thrown together, but I need help filling up the other 500.

Let me know what you guys think of the list so far and what you would add!

HQ:
Librarian, Jump Pack, Storm Bolter, with Shield of Sanguinius and Blood Lance - 128 pts

Elite:
Sanguinary Priest, Jump Pack - 75 pts

Troops:
5 scouts with Camp Cloaks and Snipers - 90 pts

9 assault marines, power sword, Godhammer Land Raider - 402 pts

10 assault marines, two melta guns - 210 pts

Fast attack:
Baal Predator, flamestorm cannon, heavy bolters - 145 pts

Heavy Support:
Storm Raven, TL Multimelta, TL Lascannon - 200 pts

For 500 pts, I could add Dante to change my current Assault squad into a Dantebomb and a unit of bare Sanguinary Guard as troops with an attached Sanguinary priest. I own a drop pod and a Brother Corbulo proxy but I would have to buy a box of Sternguard if I wanted to use that strategy or a Dread box if I wanted to run a Fragioso pod. I own some tactical terminators and two terminator captains but no TH/SS arms. As well as the aforementioned Tactical marines with lots of missile launchers, some flamers and some plasma guns and two rhinos as well as a Baal Pred/Razorback with TLAC. I have some more assault marines with melta guns/powerfists sprinkled in and Mephiston (though he's missing his backpack). I have another Storm Raven but it's still on the sprue and I'm not sure I could have it up and running in two weeks. Maybe if I slap it together but that reeks of miniature regret syndrome.

I could really use some help with this guys and gals. I'm fresh out of good ideas.
