I was wondering if you could share your thoughts on this list I might take to the 1750 point vanquish tourney soon... It has comp rules and you get a bonus for 'variety' outside of primary detach troops.

Thanks in advance Any points would be welcome- changes, tweaks etc. Its pretty much 1750 spot on.

Leman Russ Exterminator with Las, sponson H bolters (has been surprisingly effective in other tourneys)

Essentially - zombies take points and 1 unit chills behind the line with the CCS shooting the aegis.

Vendetta and marbo turn up turn 2 (hopefully with some plasma terms and/or heldrake). Enough plasma to deal with MEQ/TEQ

Obliterators just do their shooty thang

Vets drop on point to take or contest later in the game.

Typhus stays at home with the zombies, if someone wants to take a point they have to go through him first (in the mean time he psychic powers people as they run up).

And getting slay the warlord means they have to kill him and 20 of his FNP chums.

Wow, this list is all over, im going to have to do a pro/con list to organize my thoughts

+you have lots of troops
+you have lots of AP2
+You have two powerful fliers

-You have a very small volume of fire
-Your melee units lack transport, rely on Deepstriking (unreliable)
-Your Tank is the only armor you have and will not last long as it will draw the attention of all of your opponents AntiArmor

Its not an awful list, but I feel it lacks focus and will bend itself to lists that have better synergy.
Also you will have lots of problems versus lists that require volume of fire to beat. (FMC spam, Thousand Sons, etc)

What would you suggest instead of the Exterminator? Anything to swop around?

I am hoping for a fair amount of shooting turn 2:
Vendetta and Marbo arrive on a 2+, heldrake and terminators on a 3+ in addition to the quad gun, oblits, exterm
