I'm pretty sure this is where these questions belong, sorry if it's the wrong section.

What is the size of a centurion model? (A Dev Centurion if it makes a difference) Not the exact height, but is it closer to a termy or an Ironclad/standard Dreadnought? I plan on proxying some to decide if they work well for my army.
The guys in my area don't mind that kind of thing as long as it's not confusing (Y'know, this PC is a LC, and this PC is a HF and this PC is a ML, as an example)

As for the second question; What do people mean by "That list is (not) very competitive"?
Like, how can you tell what is "competitive" and what isn't?
If it's "something you'd take to a tourny" what would qualify for that?
I'm not exactly trying to build one, but it would be nice to know if I decided to build one.
I play Space Marines (Clan Raukaan, essentially Iron Hands with different Relics and auto heavy dreads) and Orks if you can give me examples from those codexes.
Thanks.

If I sound like I'm being a condescending butthole, I'm not. Read my reply as neutrally as possible, please and thank you.

Centurions are in between. Bigger than a Terminator (and more bulky), not as big/mechanical as a Dread.

Damn.
I knew that'd be the case.
>.<
Would you say one is closer?

I'd say closer in height to a dread, closer in width to a termie. (Just off the top of my head, not holding them up as I type. )

If it helps at all, they are almost the same size as Rogue Trader dreads. (I've got three of those I debated using as Centurions before I bought my own box.)

I only have an AoBR dread and three Ironclads. Plus, like, 20something termies.
I never played this "rogue trader" era I'm afraid.

They use 50mm round bases, if it helps you.

Yeah 50 mm round bases vs 40 for termies and 60 for dreads, don't have a pic with a dread in it, but here's a pic with a marine, terminator and cent.

Just glue two space marines together and call it a day. Then rubberband the extra weapons on. No one will even notice the difference.
