Wondering Why the Emperor Left

Boston, MA

Hey all,

I'm considering re-entering the world of competitive 40k, and I'm trying to nail down a workable 1850 take-all-comers list to work from. Here's what I've come up with:

Librarian
Command Squad - 5 Combi-Gravs/Plasmas, Rhino
Legion of the Damned - 5 man, Melta, Combi-Melta
Legion of the Damned - 5 man, Melta, Combi-Melta
Tactical Squad - 10 man, Plasma, Power Sword, Rhino

Stalker

Knight Paladin

I'm not totally sold on my HQ choice, or the command squad. I'm pretty flexible in what I would do with the space marines, except I have no interest in bikes or allying in Inquisition. I've toyed with the idea of having a couple techmarines follow around the knights. I'd love to hear what more seasoned tournament players think!

Thank you!

It is true that nothing desirable is given to us for free. The only thing we can be certain about is a mundane, repetitive, and thoughtless existence. Improving our lives takes dedication and hard work, as our dreams won't simply become reality. Those who give up trying to better themselves get stuck in a state of hopelessness with no aspirations or goals. They live only in the depressing present. They blend into the crowd of people stuck in the same place and their lives slowly drain their hopes and desires. Seeing people in this situation is disheartening, but no situation is absolutely hopeless. Any situation can be changed if there is a will to change it.
