So after a long time of mostly making lists for casual play I thought I'd try and make something a little punchier. If I was going to a tournament this is what I'd hope to bring. It's made of what I have and therefore not über efficient. I don't have any wraith knights nor an excess of wave serpents- so I'm not keen on shelling out to make a list that includes lots of them. I know they both feature heavily in tournament orientated lists these days but I'm looking to have fun and not get roflstomped every game, not win the whole thing. So please if you have any suggestions for improvement, and I hope you do, please bear that in mind.

List 1:

Farseer, spear
Autarch, warp jump generator, fusion gun
Warlock, spear

20 guardians, 2 bright lances (warlock and Farseer goes here)
6 rangers
6 jetbikes, 2 shuricannons
9 dire avengers, wave serpent, TL scatter lasers

7 warp spiders, exarch, fast shot (autarch here)
Crimson hunter, exarch
6 swooping hawks, exarch, sunrifle

3 dark reapers, exarch, fast shot, starsshot missiles x3
3 war walkers, 2 scatter lasers each

Icarus cannon on ADL (for the DR exarch)

Total 1748

Or

Farseer, spear
Autarch, warp jump generator, fusion gun
Warlock, spear

20 guardians, 2 bright lances (warlock and Farseer goes here)
6 rangers
6 jetbikes, 2 shuricannons
9 dire avengers, exarch, power weapon and shimmer shield,
wave serpent, TL scatter lasers

7 warp spiders, exarch, fast shot (autarch here)
Crimson hunter, exarch

DE allies:

Haemonculus, liquefier gun

4 true born, 2 splinter cannons
Venom, additional SC
5 wyches, haywire grenades
Venom, additional SC

Void raven bomber, flicker field, 2 missiles

Total 1747

Both lists have plenty of speed, troops for holding and late game contesting of objectives. There's a spread of antitank and anti-air, although the second list is more reliant on reserves manipulation from the autarch to get my fliers in after theirs. In either case I'll be looking to focus out the ADLs and other flak my opponent has brought since my flyer(s) are made of wet paper.
Both should have enough volume of fire for hordes to keep them at bay, but lack templates if anything in serious numbers comes along. I'm happy however that I've got monstrous creatures covered with either poison or volume of s6 and s8.

So please- with the aforementioned caveat of not asking me to buy a feth-ton of new models I'd be grateful for the critique on the lists.

Thanks

Executing Exarch

The Twilight Zone

Both lists have merit, but could use some tweaks here and there.

I would be hesitant on taking the warp jump generator on the autarch as the spiders are on foot, and the generator can kill your Autarch if you use it in the movement phase. Instead, run em with the dire avengers for safety, and a hidden Bs6 melta gun. With spare points, always give your autarch a banshee mask and scorpion chainsword. If you ever need to charge in and attack, it ensures you go first, and the rest of your squad likely will as well, even if charing through cover without grenades your striking at the same time. The scorpion sword is 3 points for +1 S and attack, which is a steal.

Rangers are okay, but I would only take 5 and use them to infiltrate/outflank as needed. Take 10 avengers if you have them and holo fields on the serpent.

It is generally better to run another warp spider than a fast shot exarch, but if you don't have any more spiders fast shot exarches are ok too.

With DE, taking gristly trophies will allow your eldar allies to re roll psychic tests. Park a venom near your blob and now your psykers re roll. A guided venom and/or walkers are outright ugly.

If you are going for splinterborn, drop the extra body as you only need 3 to field them, and only have 2 cannons.

Missiles are OK on a voidraven, but optional. If your taking any, shatterfields are the best bang for the buck. They beat out monoscythe and necrotoxin 9 out of 10 times, and implosion missiles are garbage.

An interesting take for DE allies would be the baron in your guardian blob. Stealth, CC defense, defensive grenades, hit and run, a shadowfield and +1 to going first are all very good. Obviously you need to free up some points, but something to consider.
