So I was playing around with the Imperial Knight Codex and I decided to throw together a semi-competitive list that looks like it would be a lot of fun to play and hard to deal with. What do you think of the list?

-=Primary Detatchment=- Codex Imperial Knights

Imperial Knight Errant (Warlord) - 370
Imperial Knight Errant - 370
Imperial Knight Paladin - 375

-=Allied Detatchment=- Imperial Guard Codex

CCS w/ Camo Cloaks 1x AC Team - 80

Infantry Platoon - 295
PCS w/ 4x Melta
Infantry Squad w/ Plasma and PW Sarge
Infantry Squad w/ Plasma and PW Sarge
Infantry Squad w/ Plasma and PW Sarge

Vendetta Squadron - 260
2x Vendetta

-=Fortification=-
Aegis Defense Line w/QuadGun 100

Total Pts = 1850 on the money

CCS Mans the ADL with their 2+ cover and takes out any flyers until the two Vendettas arrive. PCS goes in one Vendetta to drop in and blast targets of opportunity. Infantry can blob up and hold backfield or start split if depending upon scenario. The Knights are all scoring stompy walkers moving 12" a turn to take objectives and smash face. Warlord gets his 3+ Invuln Ion Shield as a Senschal.

What do you think? What are the best/worst matchups? How can I improve?

Hmm nobody to weigh in? I think I will have to playtest this one.

Correct. Despite countless millennia of evolution, technological advances and civilization, we're still monkeys throwing feces at things we don't like.-Zed.

Imperial Flyers don't actually "fly" they just go fast enough that they fall in an arc that keeps them parallel to the ground. -Clockwork Zion

If you blob up the infantry squads you are asking to lose them all in one go. Never blob up unless you have a commissar or inquisitor to give them the leadership and stubborn bonuses.

I will keep that in mind. I was torn between the CCS and the Lord Comissar.

I agree with above, throw a commissar into the blob or keep them in separate squads. Also I'd lose the power weapons on the sergeants. Having power weapons on IG sergeants always seems silly to me. If it comes to CC they're pretty screwed anyways, might as well save the points.

'I cannot destroy Heresy. I can fight it. I can murder millions, billions, but as long as two humans live there will always be Heresy. No, i cannot destroy heresy, for only a god, no, THE god, our lord and divine god emperor, is the only one who can wipe out heresy. Till his return, i must do what i can to thin the swarm.

I have had success with stubborn blobs with the PW sarges. If I am not blobbing them I will certainly toss them out. Maybe I should go 2x squads w/o the PW and put them in Chimeras?

Aside from the blob anyone want to take a crack at this? Matchups?

Looks pretty mean to me. Unsure anyone would have an answer to this list at 1850 points......

That is kind of what I was thinking. I am going to start playing this list a bit. It looks pretty nasty. The deathstar lists are taking over but I think that strength D melee and the distance these things can cover might put an end to that. I can't wait to see GT results with knights included. Screamerstar and Jetseer will cry against these.
