So awesome! I haven't seen too many actual battle reports from the ToF invitational so thank you for posting. Your writing style is hilarious as I laughed every time you "mindlessly" moved stuff around lol. I'm surprised Pajama Pants was trying to call the game at the top of a round as you'd think you'd split the remaining time to complete the entire round. Congrats on your performance!

It wasn't so much Alan trying to stop the game, but the 5 TOs standing around the table telling me that time was up and I had to stop, so I whined and begged for an opportunity to move and shoot at the bottom of the turn!

Fair enough but I don't think that would be very fair to end the game on the top of a turn. I know the Frontline guys will tell you to take the time remaining at the top of the turn and split it right in half. I had to do this at Duel Con 2 and busted out a stop watch app on my phone and I was glad we did that. Especially at such a unique tournament as this time should have been given equally.

Do you guys have any plans to make the podcast downloadable? For some reason I keep buffering like crazy and it's making it basically unlistenable for me.

Yeah hard caps are bad. Both players should play the same number of turns. If it is too close to time, then it should end the previous turn. But if you start a turn...you need to finish it.

@breng thanks dude. I had searched for it earlier but didn't put a space between "stupid" and "hammer" ;p. got now pumped to listen.

Ha! Me too! It wasn't a big deal event wise, but it sure would have been a bummer to have had it end that way! Regardless it was a great game that I am very thankful to have had the opportunity to play! Alan kicked my ass with my own army at Nova last year, was nice to have another swing at him!

I'm still kicking myself for assaulting with that Grinder. What the hell was I thinking?! LOL!

We all make mistakes...I made a couple last knight against Mike and it cost me the BFS championship. That and his dice being way better than mine turns one and two. I rolled -1 Invul 2 turns in a row for the first two turns, proceeded to roll like nothing but 5s for my invuls (just as a slap in the face), he rolled less then a 5 for his serpent shields maybe twice, and my beasts evaporated on turn 3. I also mishap killed my horrors.

My mistakes were giving him first turn and choosing end of game scoring, for objectives.

Pretty hilarious that you kill his shard seer and he then tries to cast mental fortitude when he never rolled on that chart to begin with.

Hey people make mistakes all the time. I dont think it really even warranted being mentioned .
