So this is more of a HYWPI question but i'd like to hear the RaW option too:

When a building suffers an "Explosion" result, it is removed from play and any unit withing must Emergency Disembark (once they have survived the collapse)

So:
A) do they move to 3" "outside" of the building area (it has been removed, so how do you tell?)
B) Do they have 3" to move how they want in the area the building was?

Also, side question:
- If they were in a "double bastion" (EXAMPLE) on the second level (below battlements), would they take a "Leap down" test, of simply suffer the Emergency Disembark and move along the board?

Long one, but thoughts?

Are you asking for basic or SA rules ? There is no 2d6 in the basic.

The BrB building rules - page 124 i think? will confirm the page.
But we played it Sunday, and it was the 2D6 Building damage table.

But not the SA book, no.

Building damage table is on pg 94 and has 7 items on it. 7 is Detonation: there building becomes impassable terrain after the unit disembarks it.

It isnt a 2D6 table, It is a D6 table with modifiers for AP2 / 1 / etc

The detonation! result simply results in the building becoming impassable terrain; it is not removed. It als oonly does that after the unit disembarks, same as when a vehicle explodes!
