This thread might sound like another "Tau are so OP" threads, and I apologize for that. It is not my intention to complain about the rules, but I feel the commander isn't represented well.

I think price, stats and abilities are fine but I'd like to reword the options entry.

Options:
May take up to three items from the Ranged Weapons and/ or Support Systems lists.
• May take one additional item from the Ranged Weapons and/ or Support Systems lists, or an item from the Signature Systems list.
• May take up to two drones from the Drones list.

In every other 6th edition codex, you have to replace one of your existing pieces of wargear with a relic/ remnants of glory/ artifact. I think Tau should be subject to limitations as well. The way rules are currently written, Tau commanders can take as many signature systems as they want and that seems a little absurd. What do you guys think? Am I nerfing him too much?

You only have to give up relics with another piece of wargear if that relic is a weapon. Things that aren't weapons (Mantle of the Laughing God, Armor Indomitus, etc.) do not replace wargear.

I don't think it's "nerfing" him too much, but I would like to see something in place where they'd have a limited number of support slots and each signature system would count toward that.
