Everything looks good. I can't wait to see the Train + Steamboat.
Only thing I didn't like was the square Beer-barrel.
It would look much better, if it was a hexagon or Octagon!

Wild West HDF scenery is an increasingly competitive market. Quality wise, these pieces are on the lower end, and would have to compete on price. The prices are pretty low, but I'm not sure if they are low enough to justify the quality drop.
The prices seem to be very low at first blush, and that would cause its own set of concerns, but the company has fulfilled two KS campaigns so far, yes?
There's also a lot of little turn offs, like the ugly signage. That's something you'd have to work to cover up. And the drawn in interior details, like the gun outlines and the rumpled sheets. That's not fooling anybody.

A train with train tracks or fits on o Scale tracks might get me into this kickstarter. (real O scale trains are too expensive for wargameing senary.) I want to make a victorian/steam punk board eventually, but one thing I can't get for terrian is a train.
Otherwise I would sujest going to Sarissa precision for MDF buildings. =/ 4ground also dose better beds, stoves, and other interrior details. The detail parts in this kickstarter look realy bad TBH. Especaily when put next to 4ground.

This is VERY interesting.
It looks like it might scale OK with Wild West Exodus too?
I mean, aren't the WWX models close to the same size as the Malifaux minis?

If I'm not mistaken, Malifaux scale at about 32mm, while I believe that WWX runs closer to 35mm, but I could be wrong.
These look good, for the price. There are some aspects that I'm not crazy about (the rifles in the gun shop and the blankets on the beds) but some kits are very nice, like the undertaker's and the church.

For these prices, I might forgive/not worry about the 3mm...

Price is mostly what the product has going for it. The buildings could have been designed better.

By the looks of it I'm guessing you can just flip those pieces around and have blank slates rather than the guns and blankets, though. That would alleviate the cartoony effect somewhat.

There is no "meh" loud enough. The train is underwhelming to say the least. There are better options.

Thanks for this - I have a number of the buildings (6- 5 small and the bordello, plus gallows) and really impressed at the cost and the utility / ease of construction.

Mr Morden wrote:Thanks for this - I have a number of the buildings (6- 5 small and the bordello, plus gallows) and really impressed at the cost and the utility / ease of construction.
Do you have any western buildings from other manufacturers? I'd like to get a good sense of the dimensions of these buildings and how they look with western buildings from other manufacturers. It seems like they are being photographed with models that lean towards the large end of the quite nebulous 28mm-35mm 'scale'.
If they are on the upper end, then they may have a lot of utility for Malifaux players. Most western buildings on the market at a '28mm' scale tend to run a little small for ~30mm models. It seems like with these the doorways are, for example, bigger than you would find on buildings from 4Ground, GameCraft, Knuckleduster, Sarissa, and others.
As I have said already, the quality of detail on these TTCombat kits is on the low end of the market, but so is the price. But there may be some value in a scale niche.
In terms of price, as a comparison, take a Sarissa Livery Stable, which is 35 pounds. That kit is about the size of the TTCombat Church, which at 8 sheets clocks in at 25 pounds Kickstarter prices. TTC is about 30% less expensive. Now take for another example one of the GameCraft Livery Stables which is about 20 pounds and roughly comparable in size, but without some of the internal details. Compared to that a TTC 8 sheet building is actually more expensive.
Western scenery is a wide, wild world.

I have not got any images currently - and working this weekend - I was looking for basic models to expand my (then) small terrain collection and these are perfect - for malifeux, even 40K
Took a few for our local forum of the first buildng I I bought as a test with 40k models for scale
