Just for a few fun games I have coming up
Farseer
10 guardians, bright lance
10 guardians, bright lance
5 rangers
5 rangers
3 jet bikes, cannon
2x2 war walkers with scatter lasers
4 reapers
7 scorpions, exarch with claw
.
Think that's under the 1k, seer with the reapers, warlocks with the guardians. Considering dropping warlocks and having 2x2 scatter walkers.
Seer takes prescience, guide, and what ever the dice gods offer

Executing Exarch

Looks solid. Since you can't afford any cool toys on the reaper exarch, might as well drop em. Generally you want fast shot, night vision and an EML or starshot missiles. I agree that you should drop the warlocks for another scatter walker.

The most important rule of 40K-Page XVII of the 6th edition rulebook, the figure at the top right of the page. "Shake hands with your opponent and thank them for a good battle and fun experience." Then go out for a beer.

Amended list to show changes, so added the Walker and dropped the locks

Looks good to me, although I would drop 2 scorps and the SC for starshot missiles.

If I add starshot missiles, can I still choose to shoot using starswarm, or is it an out and out total replacment

Tough Tyrant Guard

You can fire either on a given turn. Not both obviously.

That's good because I would like the option on occasion to spread more anti marine love but str 8 offers excellent anti tank too, especially with it cancelling out jink saves
