I named him Detritus after the Discworld character.
I made a couple of minor changes; the pose is adjusted a bit to try to get him to stand up straighter and better show his face, and I made the arms look a bit more like human arms. I sculpted some "mystic runes" of my own to fill the holes left by the conversion. This was my first attempt at a "forest" base, it didn't come out as well as I'd hoped but it's not too bad I reckon. The gem looks a bit weird in the photos because it's reflecting the white desk, in real life it looks better - at least from a low angle, the problem is that because of it's position the brighter parts at the bottom of the gem are normally hidden from view so it just looks very dark.
