So its tax return time, and I figure its time to integrate some Forgeworld into my Templars army, so I decided I wanted to make something decent but also very fluffy. My local meta has very little in the way of powergamers, but the lists are on the stronger side of average, so I still need to be prepared for that.
HQ:
Chapter Master with Artificier Armor, Shield Eternal, Powerfist, Digital Weapons: Functions as a Fleet Marshal, taken instead of a Captain so that I can bring Honor Guard as well as the orbital bombardment. 235 points
10 Honor Guard(working as Sword Brothers), All Power Swords, Thunderhammer on the Champion, Chapter Banner 300 points
Master of the Forge, Power Axe, Digital Weapons (Keeper of the Relics) 115 points
Troops:
Crusader Squad, 10 Initiates, 6 Scouts, All Close Combat Weapons and Bolt Pistols, Powerfist, Flamer, Sword Brother with Power Sword, and meltabombs, mounted in a Land Raider Crusader with multimelta 520 points
Crusader Squad, 10 Initiates, 5 Scouts, All Close Combat Weapons and Bolt Pistols, Powerfist, Flamer, Sword Brother with Power Sword, mounted in a Land Raider Crusader with multimelta 505 points
Scout Squad 5 scouts 55 points
Scout Squad 5 scouts 55 points
Heavy Support:
Fire Raptor with quad heavy bolters 225 points
Storm Eagle ROC Pattern with heavy bolter 295 points
Sicaran Battle Tank with armored ceramite and lascannon sponsons 195 points
Tactics: CM and Honor Guard go in the Storm Eagle, MotF joins the smaller Crusader squad, scout squads hold a back objective in a fortified ruin.
As for fluffiness, I feel like the scouts would head in first to search for relics, and then the strikeforce consists of armored, fast, and highly venerated machines to help secure and transport even the most valuable items.
