I'm playing a game against a Tyranid player in 4 days and I play orks. I've never played against him before and I don't know what sort of Tyranid list he brings. Here's my list:

I'm Gonna put the Big Mek with the lootas somewhere in cover, and the warboss and the nobs in a trukk. Then the shoota boys in the other trukk. What do you think?

Mek should ideally not go with lootas, as they have different ideal targets. I put my SAAG in a unit of lobbas so he is essentially T7. The warboss needs cybork body, and i would personally swap nobs for 2 smaller units of mega nobs, or more boyz, or at least put them in a battlewagon. -you really want more boyz as you only got 40 and nobs are pretty sub par without bikes or mega armour, im asuming the blob of 30 has shootas? (If so ditch the nob, if not ditch the big shootas) to pay for this id drop the boom wagons.

thats just what i'd do, and i realise you wont want too change everything so ill just say the things i think are a must:

-Big mek should go with something other than lootas (big guns or samll mob of shootas)
- 30 boys should either have chappas and nob, or shootas and big shootas
-warboss needs cybork.
-only one big shoota per boom wagon as its main use is to protect against weapon destroyed.

Whats with the 10 boyz w/ big shoota costing 100p?

Needs more power klaws on the trukk units. They are literally a power klaw delivery system, so removing the klaws makes them totally useless

Yeah sorry didn't put something in the truck boys have a nob with a power claw, I think I may have misscalculated it. Cut the nob squad down to 6 and add 2 power claws which would leave me 10 points over, what could I remove?

The trouble with looted wagons is how squishy they are - AV 11 isn't going to take much punishment. And, of course, animosity is a bitch and a half. I think it's a big risk taking one, let alone three - two at most I think would give best results. I'd also have one extra big shoota at most just to account for weapon destroyed results, those points could be put to better use elsewhere.

Cybork bodies on the warboss and nobs will do you a lot more good than 'eavy armour will, IMO. Although I also agree with gork/mork that giving them mega armour would be the best plan if you're putting them in a trukk.
