How can I use them well? Most of the time I put my tankbustas in a trukk with a rokkit and start shooting tanks (can only move 6" but 5 rokkits flying at a tank!). While everything else would hit weak points in the army- tactical squads, nearly destroyed squads...- while nobz, Deafs and kans did the hard work. This works really well with IG and Tau but I played a match against some CSM and they killed everything.

Might want to consider getting a trukk/burna combo since you're already using burnas. You can run them up the field ahead and get some lead off your boyz while they advance. Another option would be to hold back some and then come in and save the boyz when some 12 inch burna action. Really gets the most out of a fairly weak unit.

How do the storm boyz work out for you?

All's easy. Get more battlewagonz or nob bikers and you'll make everything work.

Storm boyz work great against IG in cover and necrons. I also use them as bullet shields and deep strike them into the enemies objective then giving my boyz sometime to catch up and grab the objective. I think they work quite well with 10 or more.
