Well, it's a pretty simple question: which space marine chapter has the most insatiable tastes for acts of bravado?

Which warband is the most pompous? Which warlord the most grandiose?

Which of the Imperium's finest or Chaos' most loyal is the biggest show off?

Which staggering bio engineered giant space warrior is most likely to swagger into the fallen fortress of his enemy and pimp slap him with a powerfist?

I'm not going to include a poll because the list of options is HUGE so just leave a comment naming whichever band of merry men you think is the boldest of the bold!

Space Wolves come to mind but I think most people would say the layers of endless plot armour help to protect them.
Yarrick has a pretty massive set of balls on him.
For Chaos i'd say Alpharius has the boldest plans. Hypnotising half a chapter of space marines via graffiti and then using them to annihilate the chapter. Faking his death about a hundred times.

The boldest are likely to come from the ranks of the Guard.

A 170lb guardsman with a canvas shirt and lasgun balls out charging a 2 ton Chaos Space Marine with a 5 foot chain sword and tank like power armor is a bold man.

They're one of the legions with the lost Primarchs, their primarch currently wandering around dazed and confused in an alternate reality where he is known as Jean Luc Picard.

Depends. The way I read the question, I'd have to say the Emperor's Children.

The guardsman is brave, but the EC has bravado.

The difference being that while the Guardsman who charges a CSM is insanely brave and punching far above his weight category, while the Chaos Marine isn't being brave, he's just showing off.

Bravado is about ego, not bravery, and nobody has a bigger ego than the children of Mr. I'm-so-Perfect-I-use-Loreal-Flicks-as-part-of-my-fighting-style.

I'd give Yarrick bravado as well.
Though he uses it more as a weapon to fight orks...

I would say the Space Wolves, they love acts of bravado and showing off. They would do everything to make their personal sagas better.

The Wolves of Russ are, indeed, some glory-hounds.

Emeperor's Children, with ease. Every member of their Legion that turned to Chaos simply SWEATS pure liquid ego, as they hold a lust for grandiose acts of debauchery and excess while all suffering from constant delusions of grandeur.

Which space marine chapter has the most insatiable tastes for acts of bravado? Legion of Damned (Chapter???)

Which warband is the most pompous? EC

Which warlord the most grandiose? Lucious the Eternal

Which of the Imperium's finest? Yarrik. Read bio.

Chaos' most loyal is the biggest show off? Alpharious. Destroying an entire chapter just cause.

Which staggering bio engineered giant space warrior is most likely to swagger into the fallen fortress of his enemy and pimp slap him with a powerfist? Fabious Bile. The fact he's still alive is nothing short of amazing.

But is he a space marine chapter?

The most glorious chapter is of course the Galactic Partridges. No chapter is better than the Partridges.
Spoiler:

All glory to the Galactic Partridges.

If we are counting the Legions that fell to Chaos then the Emperor's Children win hands down.

If not, then we have a close match up of the Sons of Russ and the Sons of Dorn.

White Scars have to be up there somewhere. their solution to everything is to charge it while riding a bike.

I mean only the White Scars would think the solution to a flying enemy is to punch it.

The Alpha Legion often seems to get results by doing things that are outright audacious.

A prime example would be in The Unremembered Empire; a squad of Legionnaires wipes out a squad of Ultramarines on Calth, steals their armour, wargear etc, board an Ultramarines vessel, pass themselves off as Ultramarines for months, land on Ultramar, walk right into Guilliman's private chambers under the pretense of their squad leader being a friend of Guilliman, bar the door and proceed to almost kill him there and then.

Probably my favourite part of the whole book, and so ridiculously "lol, you can't seriously think we'll get away with this" that they get all the way to the man himself, in the heart of his own city, in the heart of his own empire.

Brutal.
