Here are some more shots of my kitbashed Archmage with Book of Hoeth

Parts I used:

Head from Mage kit
Mage Torso from Dragon kit (Not the Dragon Mage Torso)
Mage Staff Arm from Dragon kit
Staff Topper from Mage kit
Arm with Book from Dragon kit.
Legs cut from Isle of Blood Mage (I cut it off from waist and then carved off sword and vials)
Floating Rock Pile from Mage kit (cut them down so its only two rocks. Angles were perfect fit for feet)
Dagger and Pouches from Mage kit
Sheathed Sword from Mage kit (or was it Hero kit? cant remember...)

Nice collection, I like the fact you've managed to avoid using the older (worse) models and keep to the new, much much cooler ones.

The Archmage is very nice, and the Skycutter is very neat. This is the first time I've seen non-GW pics of it, and it looks to be a really nice model. I don't tend to follow Fantasy blogs, but I'll be keeping an eye on this.

Nice army you have going there!
I assume you decided to buy it all in one go? Oh and how many points is that give or take? 2000ish? (I really don't feel like doing the math haha)

Hopefully you keep this updated because the forums are overrun by 40k stuff haha I like to see Fantasy armies too (and other stuff to not just GW lol)
That mage is really nice I like it alot!

One of my goals with this army was using all plastics and all new models where I could. Not to say I don't have a ton of older plastics (120 Spearmen, 80 Archers), but they are really showing their age...

The Skycutter was a bit annoying to build. I don't think it was designed with travel in mind... My one regret is not building it with wings up (you have choice, up or down), but otherwise, it was a fun kit.

I'm a slow painter, so updates will be sporadic at best. Right now I'll be waiting for the weather to cooperate so I can get some priming done. I will update as I can however.
