A re-hash of a list I am building. How are Honor Guard? What would be a good way to kit them? I figured putting Pedro with them instead of shoehorning him into the Sternguard would be more useful than my prior list with the dual Flamer assault squad in a Pod, which had Pedro ride in with an 8-man Sternguard squad. Now, I have up to eight scoring units or as few as five. I get 4 Pods first turn, too. The TFC will go in Bolstered Ruins. Stormtalons do anti-air and anti-armor work, as needed.

Anyhow, thoughts?

From my experience I would only take non biker command squads with either grav/storm shields, or just grav/plasma guns, reason being, they arn't that fantastic by the time they get into CC because everyone shoots them to pieces (at least ofr me) but if you give them guns, chances are they can annihilate a whole unit/vehicle before they die or get into CC.

Well, those are Honor Guard. Can't give Pedro a Command Squad, sadly (or at least, not that I am aware of). They come default with artificer and a power weapon, so I was hoping they would be a tough little unit for a reasonable enough price.
