I really like steel fists current samurai range of models and I am looking forward to seeing the range expanding.

Anyone else intrested in these or steel fists current range?

Thanks for the posting this. I'm waiting for a reply clarifying overseas shipping, but then I'll pick up a set of daimyo.

Happy to share it. I love these models so really want to share them and want others to support the company.

The first pledge says free shipping worldwide so I assume shipping wont cost anything for higher pledges either. Its worth clarifying though.

That's what I assumed, but I want to be sure. I don't really need any more troops, but some nice command models will be nice.

Who are you using for standard troops btw? Commanders are what I plan to use them too as well.

I have a whole pile of old Clan wars figs, a moderate pile of Kensei minis, a smaller pile of Kingsford minis, and an even smaller selection of Perry Borther's minis to round it all out. What I don't have is time to paint it all, which I'm sure you have experienced as well.

I certainly have. My blog is testament to that.

Interestingly I have no experience with any of the models you mention aside from perrys.

I pledged for a Hatamoto set. Hopefully the two-month lead time will be enough to see some more WIP images.

I suspect this project would have more backers if he had more to show.

Not digging that horse that Naomasa is on... and he keeps making me think of Takeda Shingen for some reason... maybe the horns on the helmet from too much Sengoku Musou?

Those new cavalry figures just posted look a lot nicer.

Guys on foot look pretty good too.

Now if they wanted to do Kanetsugu Naoe... I might be tempted to back.

He's kind of a big deal where my inlaws live. In fact, the area where they filmed the taiga drama Tenchijin was about fifteen minutes or so from their house. I can remember having to find alternate routes to the kids' preschool due to certain areas being blocked off for filming.

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

Apparently the first horse with Ii on it is still a work in progress.

Not sure about this, as there are already several miniature lines of that quality since the 80s, e.g. Perry Miniatures.

Owning models from both I think these are ever better quality than Perrys and I love the perry models.
