After all those long years in the hobby with nothing but a few minis ever painted, my friends and I decided that it was time for our gaming group to finally play with FULL painted armies at WHFB.
All in for a monthly painting challenge.
For the first month, we went easy and took a Lord/Hero choice to paint. So here's my DE Sorceress WIP..

Pic isn't all that bad - a tad grainy, but the model is coming through clearly... and man, am I ever glad that it is!

This is honestly one of the best monochromatic paintjobs I've ever seen. The stark lighting is evocative and feels consistent, the blends are smooth, the models lines are clearly delineated, the more intense color of the cloth adds a splash of extra interest without departing from the overall scheme...

Can't wait to see it finished, let alone what might come next.

Ok, that Dark Elf is breath-taking, I can't believe you only painted a "few" miniatures before because that blending and color palette is stunning.
