You know, the giant mace that the Emperor gave to Horus when he appointed him Warmaster? You'd think that'd be the sort of thing that someone awesome would have managed to get a hold of. Anyone have a reference from some obscure passage somewhere that might shed some light?

Fixture of Dakka

Temple Prime

It fell into a well, but because of the size of their pauldrons, none of the Chaos Space marines could fit down the well to grab it.

It was very sad.

Perhaps the Emperor's Children have it?

More than likely it was nicked by a certain metal kleptomaniac while Horus was sleeping, having drawn a funny moustache on his face and left him a polite yet condescendingly trollish note and a bomb.

That or it was those bloody magpies.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

Horus threw it away, cause it was a gift from his daddy, who he hates.

Horus used it as a fork, then he realized his army was missing and vowed to never eat again.

Abaddon tried hefting it. We all know the end result.
