Image below is the army in its current state, half of its not painted yet.

What is painted however is mostly Purple and everything looks really dark and dreary. I dont want an army thats screams at you with colour but I need some ideas for making them a bit brighter. Does anyone have any suggestions for this? Could it be something as simple of painting all the weapons White (not very Dark Eldar like though!)?

I can't really see too much from this pic.Have you tried a brighter purple highlight even going into pinks?

Yeah man,hit up the warlock purple or even pink horror.Try a test mini,i think it might really help.Pm me if you take my advice as i love dark eldar too.

What do you think about white weapons? A Dark Eldar needs to keep his killing weapons nice and clean!

The best complimentary color for purple would be yellow. Or go something close to it, like Zandri Dust/Ushabti bone. Turqoise/orange would work kinda well to.

Personally like it mostly dark as that. but i cant tell though it might be the camera

I think an easy way to make em POP is to give them some obscenely bright colors on weapon glow, jems, and maybe even some active aether sails. like florescent green.

The Greens and Yellows I can get in by way of poison weapons.

All the Lance weapons have red gems so that sort of works.

I guess I could do some of the shoulder pads or knee pads the pink colour which might show them up a bit more.

Tried to take a close up of a ravager so you can see the sails.

Artificial lighting makes it look darker.
