(I am posting this for a friend)
Dark Angels, Kill Team, here's the list:
Tac Squad x8: 112pts
-No upgrades
Raven Wing Bikes x3: 80pts
-No upgrades
How effective is this list in general? Weaknesses? Strengths? How could it be better?
My friend is limited to these models:
Dark Angels from DV box set
A box of Tau Fire warriors
And possibly a box of kroot (depending on when we next play)
With the warriors and kroot, you could put 12 warriors with a shas'ui on the board, in addition to 11 kroot with sniper rounds and a kroot hound.
With the dark angels, put a flamer in the tac or ravenwing squad, to have some ignore cover shooting.
The most important rule of 40K-Page XVII of the 6th edition rulebook, the figure at the top right of the page. "Shake hands with your opponent and thank them for a good battle and fun experience." Then go out for a beer.

Sorry, but it's the truth. Ravenwing Bikers are terrible in Kill Team. You're paying MORE POINTS than you would for Nurgle Bikers. And they get T6. It's nonsense how expensive each bike is.
Running the same list as White Scars frees up 18 points, and gives your whole list Hit and Run in addition to everything else White Scars get.
