Anyone know if Warmachine Warjack models are the same size roughly as Helbrutes? If so, are there particular models that have good weopon options similar to Helbrute options?

I have one of the Dark Vengeance Helbrutes, and want a second Helbrute, but don't want two identical Helbrute models, and don't want to pay for the current Helbrute box. Any other ideas most welcome.

Larger jacks might work size-wise, but Warmachine has such a different look than 40k that I would never use one in a 40k army.

A legion warbest might work......

If you feel like going for a more organic look, then I think a war hog or road hog might be a good starting point for a helbrute.

The model that caught my eye while browsing ebay was the Khador Destroyer. I was thinking with a little kit bashing and clever painting it might work. But I cant find any info on how tall the model is for the life of me. Horrible idea?

The Destroyer is just a tiny bit taller then a Dreadnought.

Tiny bit is OK with me. If I ever give this a shot I'll post the result

Hadn't thought to try that, Their character and soldier models never impressed me, but I kind of like some of the Warjacks.

I actually did this myself with the khador plastic starter set. It's kinda short but has character. Definitely a great way to do a 2xDCCW model.
