So I'm trying to figure out what all this does. I know from a review it's 3+ tactical squads in pods as base, then as many units as you want. Can It give guys drop pods to those who can't usually take them? for example, Centurion Devastators in Drop pods.

2nd, what chapter tactics would be awesome for this? I'm thinking Star Phantoms as a single turn of unhinged TwinLinking is deadly. Any thoughts/ tips?

I try to keep track of data slates and formations for SMs and I've never heard of that one... You sure about this?

It's from warzone Damnos if I remember correctly.

Okay I read it last night and you still cant add drop pods for people. bummer. But the Formation for those who don't know.

the formation is 3+ tactical squads as minimum, then as many drop podding things as you want. With a strategic objective you can get no scatters for your entire team!

When they come down they get to have crusader and fear for 2 turns, as well as PE versus HQ units.

Now I have to ask: is this worth it? you can put a lot of people behind the enemy and around objectives that its kinda ludicris, and even take guys like stern-guard and spam them. With Star phantom Chapter tactics you can TL every shooty weapon for one turn once per game. With this formation; damn! thats a lot of death turn one! Think of this combined with the supresson force of drop pods and maybe a librarius too.

BUT I have to ask now: would this be better or worse than drop podding an entire battle company? You don't get as many veterans but you get a 12" supporting fire rule like tau, Counter attack, an orbital strike, Stubborn near an objective and I think thats it? plus your putting 107 marines and 3 dreads in the back for some destruction and support.

which do you think is better?
