Hi all, Im mrclean214, Im Asian, 18, and just went back to playing WHFB as Lizardmen. I also have a 1000 pts Empire Army from 4 years ago. Anyways, I need tips on how to build a Lizardmen Army that is very magic focused and can take a lot of hits, thanks, and hope this is the right Warhammer forum for me

You should fill out that Empire army as well! 2500 points should be your goal for all your armies for Fantasy (in my opinion)

As for how to build it just head on over to the Warhammer Fantasy section and we can help you out there

People will most likely say:
1-2 Battalion boxes
1 Tetto'eko (or Slann)
1 Skink Priest
1 box of Temple guard
2 Salamanders
A Bastilidon OR Stegadon

That gives you a really solid base for an army (1500+ points easily)
