Hi guys, im just itchin to post a tactica thread,so here it is
Troops:
Warriors:
Best to put these at the front line or put a harbringer of despair with dem to sneak behind a tank.Necrons biggest advantage is there durability.
But if you put warriors in cc this is what comes out:
Immortals:
Best to go at the front line to,but i would strongly recommend equipping them with tesla carbines unless you hav no warriors or ur up against imperial guard.
HQ's:
Vargauard Obyron:
My favorate hq,as he provides some cc support.dont put him in front line,as your only giving him a bigger chance of dying. Then deep strike im right behind ur biggest threat, preferably ork lootas or space marine devastators.
Overlord:
Ur standard warlord, gets a bit boring, but can do a lot of damage if equipped with warscythe
Harbringer of transmogrification:
There ok,but against an army that relies on ranged weapons can't do very much.
Harbringer of despair:
Deck these guys out with abbysal staff and a veil of darkness.if your opponent has a good ld value, then dont bother with nightmare shroud
Harbringer of destruction:
Put them with solar pulse just incase things don't go in ur favour.other than that, just shoot crap with him
That's it for part 1, ill b talkin about heavy support and elite in part 2, which will be out tomorrow. Feel free to reply and give feedback.Bye!
Automatically Appended Next Post: Btw,I've only included the things i play with, so if I've missed zandrekh den its cos ive never used him

Maybe write up your post on a word processor before posting it here. Your spelling and grammar is atrocious.

You posted this thread about not even knowing what if Necrons are worth it.
Now you give a Tactica thread? Also, please work on your spelling. As I rule, I don't even comment on a post when someone uses "cos" or "coz" for "because". Same goes for "ur" for "your".
I'm feeling generous today.

That thread and now this one makes me think this is more of a troll than anything else.

Just one thing, why does it matter what side a vehicle the Warriors drop next to, don't they always glance on 6's?

Asking legitimate questions in a troll thread? Are you crazy?!
(also, it doesn't really matter which facing Warriors drop in front of (apart from maybe avoiding return fire if they don't manage to kill it), but sometimes Gauss Immortals might be able to make a dent in very low armor vehicles, so it pays to get behind the target in their case).

Alright, I'm gonna put in my 2 cents.
Warriors don't need to DS behind a tank, they always glance on a 6. Best to keep them in a Ghost Ark for more mobility.
Immortals. I don't understand why you should give them Tesla UNLESS you're fighting IG. Uhhh, what? Is it because they have a lot of armor? I mean, I use Gauss Immortals, but I use them for variety and because AP4 is nice against most armies besides Space Marines.
Vargard Obyron is meh in combat. He has no Invlun. Remember that. Also, why waste his DS to go behind lootas? Just shoot them with an Annihilation barge and call it a day, they are no real threat.
You're standard overlord is never boring on a Command Barge, and is also good against the apparent IG threat you have. CC Warscythe on a fast Skimmer. Yes.
Harbringer of Transmogrification. I don't even understand the statement. But they're good, I use them occasionally.
Harbringer of Despair is good, probably one of the best Harbringers IMO.
So is the Harbringer of Destruction.
Just my experiences with things.

Seriously? Where do you play. You never thought about using a few stromteks w/warriors in an arc? You don't use a command barge? Tesla on immortals? No mention of ani barge (best unit for the price in 40k) or night scythes. If you are not trolling then you need to read a few necron tacticas

He might not be a troll. He's probably just some kid who only started playing so is looking at the big shinny things without taking into consideration meta and point-effectiveness.
Being the case, yeah, most people disregard things he says in threads.
(look elsewhere for tactics, folks. Might I suggest the Necrons in 7th thread?)
