Hey guys, I need help with my army. I want to have a necron ally force for my orks and I have read the list so I know a general idea I want: enough gauss to take down the heavy tanks with glances galore. I am going to make a full necron army in the future, but for the time being I am just wanting the allies so I can take down landraiders and such. Can you please give me advise and thank you if you do .

The first thing Im gonna say is that im a cron player myself.
Ideally if you want gauss load up on warriors and doomsday arks.
It's best to get scarab swarms to for a distraction unit.
Btw,can you give me a points limit 4 dem? I'll work a list out 4u.

The Barge can keep up with the Scarabs and give them cover.

Da Stormlord: The most I would ever spend on allies would be 33%. Since I normally 1500-2000pts, I would go for 500-670pts of Necron Allies.

Hollismanson: cool ideas mate, I like the idea of a flyer (and the conversion ideas from it). It would like to know the point values of those choices.

Depending on How many warriors if the minimum is 5 and maxim is 13 anywhere from 405 to 509

There are some options with this though
The First list has a pretty cheap lord, you can mess around with the points if you have them to spare to maybe take a really great character from the Necron Army List, specifically Anakyr the Traveller as he'll upgrade your warriors to have Furious Charge and Counter attack plus he has the whole mind in the Machine. He doesn't have a invulnerable though he does have a Times Arrow and a Warscythe. If he's in the unit definitely take Voltaic Field for the protection.

He's particularly brutal when you consider he can Mind in the Machine vehicles on a 3+ and he gives Furious Charge and Counterattack to the Immortals. He just doesn't have a invulnerable save. And then you c ould always go super cheap and have a 10 Man Scarab Squad.

As an alternative, you could use

Overlord w/ CCB, warscythe
2x 5 Warriors w / Nightscythe.

This list comes out at 500 pts and gives you five units able to deal with tanks and whatnot.

Scarabs munch vehicles. If you want to have two vehicle wrecking units add a haywire staff and night scythe for the warriors and overlord. Drop that unit behind a vehicle near an objective and they will kill kill kill. And then score.

Necron Allies are easy to fit into a list if all you want to do is kill vehicles. O-lord with MSS and Weave, in a Nightscythe with 5 warriors and a stormtek. Then take another nightscythe with 5 warriors and another stormtek. This kills vehicles dead, give you a mobile scoring option, puts two fliers on the field, and you can change the O-lord's kit around to fit your needs better.
