I'm thinking of starting an Iyanden army myself. In terms of feedback, it might help people to know what you're gearing this towards. Is it a take all comers list? Also is this mostly friendly or for tournaments?

It looks like a good list, although on the 2,000 pt list you might want to add something else in rather than the fourth WG unit as some people might think its a bit much. Iyanden still has living Eldar and it would be a good opportunity to add some variety and flexibility into your force.

I think what you have written here looks quite well balanced, although I always wonder (just from personal preference) why you don't go for two d-scythe units for better anti infantry control.

I think one of the strong things about your list is that it's mobile and can move together. The addition of some Windriders might be good for some flexibility / objective grabbing too.

Not thinking about taking any WLs then?

The list is mostly friendly, but I'd eventually like to try it in a local tournament or two...so I guess take all comers.

I thought about adding some jetbikes but I have 2 units of the old metal WG and two of the new guys, so I figured why buy new stuff when I have this? I need two more serpents and another WK to complete the list though. I like the idea of another unit of d-scythes, I just don't know where I would get the points from. I suppose I could drop the second WK but what would I put in it's place that stuck with the theme and still gave me the same punch? Also, I figured my suncannon was pretty adequate anti-infantry control. I've seen him take out two 10 man squads of MEQ in one round of shooting each. I just love the fluff of Iyanden, so I like to stick with the last ditch effort vibe I guess.

If you really want another unit of scythes, just drop the sun cannon, I think its the better option, as you can over watch with scythes and WKs are best used as CC bullies.

Hmm yeah I guess it's with one unit of D-Scythes and a WK with sun cannon or two units of D-Scythes and a WK with heavy wraith cannons.
