I thought I'd try this list out and I was looking for any feedback, I am looking to be quite competitive.

Willing to make changes (I only have Khorne and Tzeentch stuff at my disposal and still no Heldrake).

Primary Detachment - Daemons

HQ
Fateweaver - 300pts
2 Exalted Flamers - 100pts

Troops
11 Horrors - 99pts
12 Horrors - 108pts

Heavy Support
Tzeentch DP - Armour, Wings, ML3, Exalted Reward (Grimoir), Greater Reward 355pts
Tzeentch DP - Armour, Wings, ML3, Exalted Reward (Portalglyph), Greater Reward 355pts

CSM Allies

HQ
Be'Lakor - 350pts

Troops
5 CSM - with Flamer 80pts

Total = 1747pts

I know this list has few troops and that my horrors will be sacrificial for delivering the Exalted Flamers, but I'm hoping with 4 FMC's my opponent will just be overwhelmed. The CSM's are just to hide and take an objective or be reserved in purge the alien.

Any thoughts?

Also, would it be worth taking instruments and an icon for the horrors instead of the extra bodies so I can drop them next to each other on the same turn (hopefully 2)?

Something very important that you have to note, the flamer weapon on the exalted is a heavy weapon. Which means it can only snapfire the turn it comes in. This is a problem on such a squishy squad as well as it being generally immobile. So I would suggest taking them out if you're trying to be competitive. You should run those badass hounds that daemons love spam.

When you only have 3 units of troops (squishy ones at that), you really can't afford to sacrifice any of them. In lists like these, your troops should be held out as long as possible and kept out of range of enemy fire and LOS as often as possible. I'd just drop both of the flamers for another unit of horrors. Other than it looks solid.

I'd possibly take 10 cultists instead, reduce your horrors to 10 and drop the flamers. Keep your troops in reserve and either buy some hounds, some screamers or some blood crushers with the saved points.

You sought to cower behind your walls, weakling? Instead, by the will of Khorne, you shall die behind them
