Hey Dakkas,

Looking for some thoughts on demonic wings on possessed chaos space marines and weather to go with blood wings or leather ones?
I'm asking cause I have no idea would blood/bloodied wings look good overall, with blending, or just stick with leather.

Given the fact I don't have airbrush, it gives out the basic idea how to do them. My first thought on the wings was that I wanted them purely organic, so would the colors such as blood (red) or flesh colors (tallarn/dwarf flesh) work for wings?

On side note, is beastial brown lighter version of scorched brown? I don't have beastial so I'm wondering if I can add skull white to make the paint.

personal opinion, i would say do the "arms" bloody, and the skin leather.

Having just finished a pair of Daemon wings I started with a 5:1 wash of caliban green then keeping with 5:1 I worked up to pure snot green, glazed with waywatcher green and then with guilliman blue. Worked a treat. Blending without an airbrush isn't gonna give the same effect I'd wager but it's doable and the net result is nearly as good.
